Some Tottenham fans on social media have been reacting to a report from The Athletic linking them with a move for West Brom goalkeeper Sam Johnstone.
The stopper looks set to be relegated with West Brom this term, and he reportedly wants to stay in the Premier League, and he isn’t short of suitors.
Indeed, the likes of West Ham have been linked, but with Tottenham seemingly in the market for a new goalie, they’ve understandably looked into the prospect of bringing him in.
The London club have been linked with plenty of goalkeepers as of late with the likes of Mike Maignan and Dean Henderson reportedly on their radar, but fans are now getting very excited about the prospect of landing Johnstone.
Of course, whether or not this deal comes to fruition remains to be seen, but if Tottenham can get this move over the line, it will certainly be a popular transfer amongst the fanbase.
