Speaking on the BBC Match of the Day top 10 Podcast, Alan Shearer has backed Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane to move to PSG this summer.
It’s no secret these days that Kane is keen to get away from Spurs, and while numerous clubs have been linked with a move for the striker, Shearer believes that his best course of action would be joining PSG.
What’s been said then?
Shearer was speaking with Micah Richards and Gary Lineker about Kane’s future, and he says that he’d like to see Kane move to PSG.
“I think that would be a great move for him PSG, I think that’s where he should go,” Shearer said.
“Says the man who doesn’t want his record broken,” Lineker said.
“No, but PSG would be a great move for him wouldn’t it?” Micah Richards concluded.
Of course he does
Lineker raises a very good point about Shearer’s Premier League record.
Shearer will surely be desperate to keep hold of his record, and if Kane moves to France, then he won’t have any chance to add to his tally.
However, regardless of Shearer’s personal gains from a potential move to PSG for Kane, we have to say that a move to the French capital would be a great move for the England captain.
He’d get to play under a manager who adores him and alongside some of the best footballers on the planet in a team that is almost guaranteed to challenge for silverware every single year.
If PSG come in for Kane, it’s certainly one he may want to consider.
