Some Newcastle United fans on social media have been reacting after it was reported by the Newcastle Chronicle that Leeds United have bid for Freddie Woodman.
Unfortunately, we don’t know how much Leeds bid for the goalkeeper nor do we know how Newcastle have responded to this bid, but one thing is for sure, Leeds want the goalie.
As you can imagine, Newcastle fans have had plenty to say about these reports, and it‘s fair to say they’re not happy about the idea of losing the 24-year-old.
Woodman has long been tipped as a future star at St James’ Park after winning the U20 World Cup and the Toulon Tournament with England’s youth sides, and now it looks as though he may leave the Magpies without playing a single Premier League game.
Supporters don’t like the idea of selling Woodman, but with Leeds in for him, it may just be a matter of time before the stopper swaps Tyneside for Yorkshire.
