Chris Sutton has said that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp ‘does not seem right’ this season on the Monday Night Club, which was broadcast by Radio Five Live.

Klopp has been fairly spiky in numerous interview this term, even though Liverpool are currently sat at the top of the Premier League table.

And Sutton feels that the Liverpool boss appears more aggravated than he has previously.

“He doesn’t seem to be at ease with himself,” Sutton said.

“He seems aggravated this season. I don’t think that’s a good thing for Liverpool and the players.

“I don’t know why. Is it the injury situation? He doesn’t seem right this season.”

Klopp has moaned at rival managers, including Chris Wilder, he has expressed frustrations about the relentlessness of Liverpool’s fixture schedule and he has bemoaned their injury crisis in post match interviews.

The Reds are currently without a number of key players, and Joel Matip is the latest player to be sidelined.

Despite all the problems, Liverpool still look to be the favourites to finish on top of the pile again this campaign.

Klopp’s side currently are three points clear at the top of the league, and they can extend that advantage if they can beat Newcastle United tomorrow evening.
