Michael Stewart has suggested to The Scottish Sun that £20 million will be enough for Celtic to sell reported Arsenal and Everton target Odsonne Edouard in the summer transfer window.

The former Manchester United midfielder has reiterated his previous claim that Edouard would walk into the Red Devils’ team at the moment.

While Stewart has said that there is no reason for the French striker to leave the Hoops now if a big club do not make an offer for him, the BBC pundit believes that a bid of £20 million will be enough for the Glasgow giants to cash in on the 22-year-old.

According to The Mirror, Arsenal and Everton are interested in signing Edouard from Scottish Premiership giants Celtic in the summer transfer window.

Stewart wrote about Edouard in The Scottish Sun: “I’ve previously said he’d walk straight into the Manchester United side and I stand by that.

“Who knows? One of those big clubs might still think it is worth putting in an offer for him.

“Maybe the up-front fee might not be as much as it would have been in other circumstances, but I think if there’s an offer towards the £20million mark Celtic would find it hard to say no.

“Until that happens, though, there is no reason for Edouard to look elsewhere.”

Good signing for Arsenal or Everton?

Edouard is a very good striker and arguably the best in the Scottish Premiership, and the Celtic star is ready to take the next step in his career.

Arsenal and Everton could do with a young striker, not just for now, but in the long run as well, and for £20 million, Edouard would be worth a punt for the two Premier League clubs.
