Garth Crooks told BBC Sport that Jack Grealish could make a ‘difference’ to both Tottenham and Arsenal given his start to the Premier League season.
Aston Villa are sitting fifth in the Premier League table, with their boyhood fan creating the most chances in the league this term, whilst those in North London could do with a player of his creativity.
Arsenal opted to leave one of their creative players – Mesut Ozil – out of their 25-man Premier League squad and have missed that spark from midfield.
Whilst Spurs have a more combative nature to their game under Jose Mourinho, as the forward-thinking, technically-gifted and creative players – Dele Alli, Giovani Lo Celso and Harry Winks – have seen their game time reduced .
Nonetheless, Crooks raved about Grealish’s talents and how he has taken his game to another level and suggested that Spurs, Arsenal and Manchester United could do with his services.
“Grealish seems to be getting better with every game,” said Crooks. “This lad should be playing regular Champions League football and the first name on the England teamsheet. This in itself poses Aston Villa a problem.
“Do they build the team around Grealish with the ambition to become a top-four side or do they resign themselves to eventually letting the midfield star go?
“Arsenal, Spurs and Manchester United are all spluttering their way through the most open Premier League season on record. What a difference Grealish could make.”

In the summer, Grealish’s name was heavily linked with Manchester United but a move didn’t materlise for the rising England star.
Given that he is Villa’s best player, an academy product and a boyhood fan, it has seen reports suggesting that a price tag of £100 million has been put over his head [Telegraph].
Even if Arsenal and Spurs wanted to sign him in the near future, they would find it difficult putting that sort of money on the table for his talents.
