Rangers take on Ross County on Sunday – and former Ibrox ace Steven Thompson has offered his prediction.
Pundit Steven Thompson has told BBC Sport that he thinks Rangers will beat Ross County 2-1 on Sunday afternoon.
The Gers have endured an up-and-down campaign so far, but the 3-0 win over Kilmarnock last week has given fans some new-found belief, and eased some of the pressure on manager Mark Warburton.

After a win for Aberdeen and a draw for Hearts already this weekend, Rangers enter Sunday’s trip to Ross County in fourth place, but know that a win will take them back up into second place, only behind Celtic.
With only two points dropped in the last four games, Rangers appear to be finding some form – and they will be taking on the Scottish Premiership’s bottom club in Ross County.
Jim McIntyre’s men have lost their last two games 4-0 and 4-1, and with no win in nine games, they sit two points behind 11th placed Dundee.

McIntyre needs results quickly if Ross County are to stay up, but pundit Steven Thompson doesn’t think they’ll be grabbing anything from Sunday’s clash with Rangers.
Thompson, a former Rangers striker, is now a pundit for BBC Sport, and told them that he thinks Rangers will win the game 2-1 on Sunday afternoon, as they will be desperately looking to reclaim second place.

Thompson noted that Ross County are leaking goals right now and can’t buy a win, meaning Rangers should be able to take advantage by claiming all three points this weekend.
“No win in nine games for Ross County, losing eight goals in their last two games,” said Thompson. “Rangers are rejuvenated after a brilliant performance last weekend. They’ll want to stay in second place, so Ross County 1-2 Rangers,” he added.
