Noel Whelan said on BBC Radio Leeds (5:06pm, November 7, 2020) that Leeds United midfielder Mateusz Klich looked tired towards the end of the game against Crystal Palace.

The former Leeds striker, who now works as a pundit for BBC Radio Leeds, suggested that it could have been because of the fact that Palace were winning 4-1.

Palace got the better of Leeds 4-1 at Selhurst Park in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Whelan said on BBC Radio Leeds (5:06pm, November 7, 2020): “Mateusz Klich looked tired. At the back end of the game, he looked very leggy, very slack with his passing.

“You could see his body looked very tired in itself, it wasn’t someone of strength. Maybe because they conceded four goals.”

How did Mateusz Klich play against Crystal Palace?

Klich did not have the best of games against Palace, but the midfielder did try to make things happen in the final third.

The Poland international midfielder worked hard and played some lovely passes, including the one for Patrick Bamford’s disallowed goal in the first half.

According to WhoScored, the 30-year-old played four key passes, had a pass accuracy of 85.5%, won two headers, took 76 touches, made three tackles and one interception, and put in eight crosses.

So far this season, Klich has scored two goals and provided three assists in eight Premier League matches for Leeds, according to WhoScored.
