Pat Nevin has told BBC Sport that Arsenal attacking midfielder Emile Smith Rowe did not play well against Fulham today.
The former Chelsea winger, who now works as a pundit for BBC Sport, has said that he admires the Arsenal youngster, but he did not think that the 20-year-old played well in the London derby.
The Gunners played out a 1-1 draw with Fulham at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League today.
Nevin told BBC Sport (2:52pm): “I do admire Emile Smith Rowe but he has had limited impact in the game so far so maybe Arteta will look at something there.”
How did Emile Smith Rowe play for Arsenal?
Smith Rowe is one of the best young players at Arsenal and has established himself as an important player in the team.
The 20-year-old is a very creative player who has been playing well for Mikel Arteta’s side in recent weeks.

However, against Fulham today, the England Under-21 international failed to make an impact, as Mario Lemina and Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa did not allow him to play his natural game.
According to WhoScored, the attacking midfielder took two shots and they were not on target, played two key passes, and had a pass accuracy of 96.2%.
Such disappointing performances are to be expected from time to time from a player who is only 20 and is still learning his trade.
