Speaking on the BBC Radio Five Live Football Daily Podcast, Paul Dickov has been waxing-lyrical about Martin Odegaard.
The Norwegian midfielder has been in fine fettle as of late, and he was at it again over the weekend against Leicester.
Every time Odegaard got on the ball against the Foxes he was looking to be progressive, he made six key passes, while he was also a force defensively, making no fewer than three tackles.
Dickov says that although people questioned Odegaard in the summer, he’s now looking like a superstar again.
What’s been said?
Dickov had nothing but good things to say about Odegaard.
“They’re playing with so much more freedom now, with no fear whatsoever, they had looked as though they were scared of making mistakes, but now, Odegaard, people questioned him in the summer at £30m, big question marks over it, but the last few weeks he’s looking like a superstar again,” Dickov said.

Settled
People may have questioned Odegaard off the back of his first loan spell at Arsenal, but it seems as though that scepticism was misguided.
To be fair, the midfielder didn’t exactly light up the league last season, but he was moving to a new country in the middle of a pandemic – that’s not easy.
Now, he looks absolutely settled in north London and his football is benefitting from that. He’s playing with the utmost confidence and he’s been absolutely brilliant as of late.
Odegaard will have to go down as one of the signings of the season.
