Leeds United fans proved their class on Sunday afternoon.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side picked up a huge win away to bottom-of-the-table Norwich City at Carrow Road.

The win took Leeds above the relegation zone and three points clear of the bottom three.

Raphinha and Rodrigo scored the all-important goals for United on the day, but the travelling fans were left chanting another player’s name at full time.

The Leeds supporters belted out ‘only one Stuart Dallas’ after the game during what’s been a difficult few months for the Northern Ireland international.

Earlier this week, Dallas revealed that one of his best friends passed away suddenly in September, before the 30-year-old then contracted the coronavirus.

But Leeds fans, as they so often do, rallied in support of their man at Carrow Road.

Here’s what Jon Newsome told BBC West Yorkshire Sport: “It was nice. It was lovely. Fair play to the supporters for doing that. There’s a lot of love out there for him.”

The Leeds faithful have been a credit to the Premier League since their troops were promoted 18 months ago.

Granted that the supporters haven’t seen Bielsa’s side in action all that much due to the pandemic but, when they are in attendance, they’re different class.

Dallas will have known all about this fanbase before, having joined way back in 2015, but Sunday will live long in his memories.
