Chris Sutton told 606 on BBC Radio 5 Live that Marcelo Bielsa would get Arsenal ‘into Europe’ if he swapped Leeds for the North London outfit.

During the 606 call, one Arsenal fan backed Bielsa to do wonders at his club because of his ability to improve players.

Whilst another Leeds fan was in agreement and even boldly claimed that he would deliver back-to-back Premier League titles at Arsenal.

This is what former Premier League winner Sutton had to say when asked to share his thoughts.

“But would he improve the Arsenal backline where Arsenal are so leaky?” questioned Sutton. “I am not so sure.

“I think he would get them into Europe, wouldn’t he?”

A large number of this current Leeds squad were finishing in mid-table in the Championship when Bielsa first took over at Elland Road.

Not only are the likes of Kalvin Phillips, Stuart Dallas, Liam Cooper, Mateusz Klich and Luke Ayling still at the club, but they are all thriving.

But Arsenal fans won’t get the chance to experience Bielsa’s high demanding ways, as he is on the road to keeping the Yorkshire giants back on their feet after a return to the elite after 17 years.
