Leeds United failed to win against Queens Park Rangers in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.

Leeds United failed to win yet again in the Championship. The Whites played out a goalless draw with Queens Park Rangers at home on Saturday afternoon.
Garry Monk’s side headed into the match against QPR at Elland Road on the back of a 1-1 draw with Fulham at Craven Cottage in the league.
Winning against Rangers was always going to be tough, but the goalless draw will still come as a disappointment to the Elland Road faithful.
Former Leeds striker Noel Whelan was following the match, and he has given his reaction to the final result.
“It’s another point towards what Leeds are aiming for – Fulham won away at Newcastle today and they are creeping up,” Whelan told BBC Sport.
“That’s the worry. It’s not for want of trying but you can see Leeds are lacking ideas in the final third. It’s about finding that ball and that killer pass.”
Over the course of the 90 minutes at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon, hosts Leeds had 63% of the possession, took six shots of which none was on target, and earned six corners, according to BBC Sport.
Visitors QPR had just 37% of the possession, took 13 shots of which three were on target, and earned five corners, according to BBC Sport.
Leeds are fourth in the Championship table at the moment with 66 points from 37 matches, while Fulham are six points behind in seventh and have a game in hand.
