Regular BBC and Talksport pundit Danny Higginbotham was impressed with Arsenal during their win over Everton and pinpointed their ability to seal victories using different methods and styles of play.
The Gunners headed into their clash with Everton coming off the back of two wins in the past seven days against newly-promoted Watford and Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
Against Watford, Arsene Wenger’s men were patient as they probed for openings while against Bayern they altered their style, sitting back and countering the Germans at frightening pace.
The Toffees threw up a more physical threat than Arsenal’s previous opponents, yet the hosts were up to the challenge and both of their goals came courtesy of aerial winners.
Speaking after the game, via social networking site Twitter, Higginbotham highlighted the North Londoners’ ability to win games in different manners and how it can bode well for the future.
A number of Premier League observers and pundits wrote Wenger’s side off following their opening day defeat to West Ham United, yet that now appears no more than a blip.
There is still plenty of work to be done before Arsenal can be deemed as title favourites, though at least their results in recent weeks show that the potential to be crowned champions next May is there.
Up next for Wenger’s side in the league is a trip to Swansea City, before hosting rivals Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates ahead of the November international break.
