Wolves are making a strong impression in the Premier League.
BBC pundit Garth Crooks picked out Wolves winger Diogo Jota for special praise after their draw at Manchester United.
Crooks named Jota in his Premier League team of the week after Wolves earned a point at Old Trafford.
Jota is yet to score this season in the top flight, despite a prolific record in the Championship, scoring 17 times.
At the weekend he caught Crooks’ eye, with the pundit also praising manager Nuno Santo.
He told BBC Sport: “Every so often you see a player and a manager who you just know are destined for great things. Wolves have Diogo Jota to thank for a magnificent performance and the player is fast becoming a Premier League star.
“The same is true of Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo, whose teams seem to impress me every time I see them. There is something of the Jose Mourinho about him but with a touch of class.”
Wolves have only scored six goals this season, although defensively they have been solid, conceding only six.
They have earned draws with both Manchester United and Manchester City and sit inside the top half of the table.
Once Wolves begin playing a bit more freely, they will begin to look very dangerous, and Jota can be a key part of it.
