Yannick Bolasie joined Everton from Crystal Palace in the summer transfer window.
Former Celtic and Chelsea striker Chris Sutton said on The Premier League Football Show on BBC Two on Thursday night (broadcast from 10pm, September 15, 2016) that Everton winger Yannick Bolasie needs to improve on his final ball.
Sutton has praised Everton for signing Bolasie from Premier League rivals Crystal Palace in the summer transfer window.
The Englishman, though, believes that the 27-year-old winger needs to improve on his final ball.
“Bolasie is a player who I really like,” said Sutton on The Premier League Football Show on BBC Two on Thursday night (broadcast from 10pm, September 15, 2016). “He is a real powerhouse, a threat on his day. His final ball can improve a little bit.”
Bolasie is a talented and experienced winger, and he will prove to be a good signing for Everton.
The DR Congo international has yet to score in the Premier League this season for the Toffees, but he has created eight chances in three league matches.
During the 2015-16 campaign, the former Bristol City winger scored five goals and created 23 chances in 26 Premier League matches for Palace.
Everton are second in the Premier League table at the moment with 10 points from four matches. Ronald Koeman’s side are just two points behind leaders Manchester City.
A top-four finish in the Premier League this season might not be possible, but the Merseyside outfit could launch a challenge for a Europa League spot.
