Aston Villa grabbed a massive win in their fight against survival on Tuesday night, beating Arsenal 1-0 at Villa Park.
Trezeguet netted the only goal of the game, set up by Tyrone Mings after he escaped the attention of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at a corner.
Mings appeared to share a joke with the Gunners skipper, distracting him before darting off into that crucial yard of space.
That allowed him to flick the ball to Trezeguet, and BBC pundit Danny Murphy said it was an old trick that Paul Gascoigne used on him.

Speaking on Match of the Day, 11:43, 22/07, Murphy said: “What you’ll see here is a little chat, having a little joke, he’s just put him off, for a second. He’s gone, he’s lost him.
“Too late. It happened to me, when I was about 19, first time I played against Gazza. Off a throw-in, having a chat, next thing he was on the ball, putting someone in because I’d lost him. Aubameyang should know better.”
The mistake really feels like something that shouldn’t fool the captain of a Premier League football team.
But it goes to show that no matter how big and serious football has become, there are still those little tricks, which have clearly been around for years, which can decide matches worth millions of pounds.
