BBC pundit and former footballer Garth Crooks picked out Adama Traore as a star performer, selecting him in his ‘team of the week’.
He told BBC Sport: “What a performance by the 20-year-old. Adama Traore was outstanding – he was a constant menace down Arsenal’s flank and came very close to completely destroying manager Arsene Wenger’s 67th birthday bash.”
Traore signed in the summer from Aston Villa, as part of a deal which saw Albert Adomah go the other way.

He had been bought from Barcelona a year earlier, but struggled to make an impact for the Villans, with injury restricting his opportunities.
The changes in management at Villa did not help his cause, and they decided to cut their losses on him in the transfer window.
This appears to have worked out for everybody – except Villa – with Middlesbrough now owning a player with the potential to go on and become one of the stars of the Premier League if he can reproduce his latest performance on a weekly basis.
