Tottenham Hotspur take on Swansea City in the Premier League this evening.
Pundit Mark Lawrenson has told BBC Sport that he thinks Tottenham Hotspur will beat Swansea City 2-0 at Wembley Stadium this evening.
Spurs not only enjoyed a morale-boosting 3-0 demolition of Everton at Goodison Park last weekend, but then followed that up with a 3-1 win over Borussia Dortmund in midweek.
Tottenham’s Champions League win silenced some doubters who had suggested that Wembley Stadium will hold Mauricio Pochettino’s men back this term, though there is still work to do.

With only one point taken from ‘home’ games against Chelsea and Burnley last month, Tottenham will hope to enjoy better fortunes when they host Swansea City this evening.
The Swans head to London having lost 1-0 to Newcastle United last time out, meaning it’s just one win from the first four games of the Premier League season for Paul Clement’s men.
With just four points from four games, Swansea are hovering just above the Premier League relegation zone, and whilst it’s still early days, they need results to get their season going.
Now, pundit Mark Lawrenson has told BBC Sport that he is not too worried about Swansea just yet, but more performances like their defeat to Newcastle would give him cause for concern.
Lawrenson added that he was impressed with Tottenham’s display at Everton, and having beaten Dortmund in midweek, he is expecting a comfortable 2-0 win for Spurs tonight,
“The way Tottenham dismantled Everton last week was very impressive,” said Lawrenson. “In contrast, Swansea really struggled against Newcastle. After seeing the Swans beat Crystal Palace, I was not too worried about Paul Clement’s side getting dragged into the relegation battle this season – but any more complete non-performances like that would be a real cause for concern.”
“Much has been made of Spurs’ poor record at Wembley until they beat Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday. But even if they had stayed at White Hart Lane, it would have been a huge ask for them to repeat their results there last season when they won 17 and drew two of their 19 home league games. This is the kind of game I would expect Spurs to win comfortably, regardless of the venue,” he added.
