West Ham United take on West Bromwich Albion on Saturday afternoon.
Pundit Mark Lawrenson has told BBC Sport that he thinks West Ham United and West Bromwich Albion will draw 1-1 at the London Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Hammers are back at the London Stadium this weekend having been on the road last time out, picking up an impressive 3-1 win away at Southampton thanks to goals from Andy Carroll, Pedro Obiang and Mark Noble.
The result means that Slaven Bilic’s men have won six of their last nine Premier League games, and sit ninth in the table having recovered from a poor first half of the season.
West Ham United’s Robert Snodgrass looks dejected
West Ham will now be looking for another win this weekend, and they host West Bromwich Albion on Saturday afternoon as ninth host eighth in the table.
Tony Pulis’ Baggies picked up a 1-0 win over Stoke City last weekend, and are just four points away from the magic 40 point mark already, with the club set for another season in the Premier League.

Whilst that has largely been Pulis’ main target since arriving as the club’s manager in 2014, this season has been different for West Brom, as they’ve played a more exciting brand of attacking football, and are on course for a top eight finish.
Ahead of the game, pundit Mark Lawrenson has offered his view on the game, telling BBC Sport that he thinks the two teams will draw 1-1 in East London this afternoon.
Lawrenson added that West Ham have made a ‘very good signing’ in Robert Snodgrass, a stark contrast to their disappointing summer signings, and are proving how good they are with Dimitri Payet now sold to Marseille.
“West Ham continue to climb the table and are now only one place behind West Brom,” said Lawrenson. “Both teams are ticking along nicely in the top half, and West Ham are showing what a good team they are now the Dimitri Payet saga is over. Robert Snodgrass is a very good signing for them, especially when you consider the players they brought in over the summer – many of them were not good enough.”
“The Baggies have got some talented players too but, away from home, their approach is to try to shut up shop,” he added.
