Leeds United won against Ipswich Town at Elland Road in the Championship at the weekend.

Noel Whelan has suggested to BBC Radio Leeds that there is a problem with the Leeds United defence.
The former Leeds striker made the observation following the Whites’ 3-2 victory over Ipswich Town at Elland Road in the Championship at the weekend.
Although the Whites scored three goals and picked up all three points from the encounter, they conceded twice.

Leeds have been strong defensively this season, but the two goals they conceded against Ipswich on Saturday afternoon show the need to be better.
Former Leeds striker Whelan has said that Thomas Christiansen’s side need to learn when to play out from the back.
“I think we have got to learn when to play out from the back,” Whelan told BBC Radio Leeds. “I think a lot of people were a little bit nervy, Wiedwald choosing wrong decisions when to play out when they are pressing high.”

One of the reasons why Leeds conceded twice against Ipswich was the absence of Pontus Jansson.
Jansson is one of the best central defenders in the Championship, but the Sweden international missed the game against the Tractor Boys due to a muscle problem.
The 26-year-old is expected to be back in action this evening when the Whites take on Cardiff City away from home at the Cardiff City Stadium in the Championship.
