BBC Sport pundit Stephen Warnock praised Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai while watching him in action against David Moyes’s West Ham United at Anfield in the Premier League on Sunday.
Dominik Szoboszlai started for Liverpool against West Ham United.
Szoboszlai started on the right of a midfield-three in a 4-3-3 formation.
And former Liverpool player Stepehen Warnock was impressed by the 22-year-old Hungary international’s performance in the first half.
Praise for Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai
The BBC Sport pundit noted that the 22-year-old is an outstanding player and observed that he runs past players with ease.
Warnock said about Szoboszlai on BBC Radio 5 Live (2:16 pm, September 24, 2023): “He is an outstanding footballer, I think.
“When you talk about all-round game, athletically he looks absolute beast of a player.
“He runs past players. He has got the second, third, fourth gear to step it up. He sees a pass and can execute a pass as well.”

Dominik Szoboszlai is a gem
Dominik Szoboszlai is one of the best young players around, and the midfielder has made an immediate impact at Liverpool since his move in the summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old is an imposing figure who can hold his own in the middle of the park, create chances for his teammates, and is a threat with the ball at his feet.
Szoboszlai is only 22, but he plays with a maturity that not many players of his age have.
Against West Ham at Anfield in the first half, Szoboszlai took two shots which were not on target, played three key passes, had a pass accuracy of 97.9%, took 55 touches, made one clearance, and put in one cross.
