Tottenham edged to a narrow in over PSV.
Tottenham Hotspur kept their Champions League hopes alive with a comeback win against PSV Eindhoven.
Spurs trailed after conceding a goal in the second minute and looked like slumping to a clear fourth place in the group.
Instead a late brace from Harry Kane turned the game on it’s head and gave Tottenham a crucial three points.
The first was a smart finish from close range under pressure after a lay off from substitute Fernando Llorente.
His second was more fortunate, with his header taking two deflections into the net.
BBC Sport pundit Lee Dixon said that he thought Spurs were lucky, but added that they deserved the good fortune after dominating most of the game.
He said: “Tottenham have created enough chances to win the game so they deserve a bit of luck.
“They got two handfuls of luck but it was a good delivery into the box.”
Tottenham remain in the hunt to seal a top two spot. To do so, they must beat Inter Milan in their next group game at Wembley.
Inter are unbeaten in the competition so far and claimed a draw away to Barcelona last night.
To beat the Italians, Tottenham will have to play better than they did against PSV.
