Tottenham Hotspur will be expected to mount a sustained title challenge this term.
Spurs continued their fine run of form yesterday, with a 2-0 win over Aston Villa in the third round of the FA Cup, and ex-Tottenham star Jermaine Jenas told BBC Sport that now is the time for his former club to deliver.
The Lilywhites currently sit in third position in the Premier League table, after a run of six wins from their last seven league outings, and are now safely through to the fourth round of the FA Cup.

They are also set to partake in the knock-out stages of the Europa League, when the competition resumes in February, so there will be many chances for Mauricio Pochettino to bring success to White Hart Lane this term.
And Jenas, who made 203 appearances for Spurs, highlighted what the Argentine has changed during his time in charge at the club, and what is now expected of him, telling BBC Sport:
“This year Tottenham have taken Manchester City to the cleaners, beaten Chelsea and were the better team against Manchester United for 60 minutes. A trophy is the obvious thing they are missing. The big thing Mauricio Pochettino has changed is the mentality. It’s about delivering it now.”

Next up for Tottenham is a home game against West Bromwich Albion in he Premier League on Saturday, before they face another huge test – a trip to the Etihad to take on Manchester City.
And Pochettino’s men will have to deliver once again if they are to be taken seriously in the title race.
