Danny Murphy labelled Jack Harrison as a ‘super talent’ on Match of the Day following Leeds United’s 5-2 win over Newcastle last night.
The former midfielder also stated that it’s ‘unbelievable’ that Leeds have had 25 or more shots from different three Premier League matches this season.
From the five teams to have most shots in a single game this term, Leeds appear on three occasions, with their arch-rivals Manchester United topping the list with 28 shots v Newcastle in October.
Leeds managed to muster 25 last night, the same amount they produced against Arsenal and two fewer than their 3-0 win at Aston Villa.
Nonetheless, this is what Murphy had to say about Leeds following their thumping win against Steve Bruce’s men.
“No tired legs in the last minute,” said Murphy. “This lad Harrison, a super talent, on-loan from Manchester City. Sweet strike isn’t it? I don’t know if you have scored one outside of the box, Gary [Lineker]? They are nice when they go in.
“Three times this season. They have had 25 shots or more [in a match], which is unbelievable and it shows the philosophy of Bielsa.
“Whilst they are playing like that, with that energy and confidence. They are never going to be in a relegation battle.”

You can bet your bottom dollar that Leeds will be producing 20+ on goal again this season and it wouldn’t be a surprise if they enter double figures in terms of the number of matches they do it in.
Whether Leeds have just been beaten by four, are on a really good run or have an injury-hit squad, their attitude and desire to go forward never changes.
And all of that stems from Marcelo Bielsa in the dugout – that was proven when Harrison, 24, drove forward in the dying moments of the game to score the goal of the night, when in truth he could have just ran down the clock.
