Liverpool won against Hull City in the Premier League at the weekend.

Danny Mills in action for Leeds

Former Leeds United and Manchester City defender Danny Mills has told BBC Sport (16:13) that Liverpool will not win the Premier League title this season.

Mills made the prediction during the Premier League game between Liverpool and Hull City at Anfield on Saturday afternoon.

The Reds maintained their strong start to the season, as they got the better of Hull City 5-1.

The win means that the Merseyside outfit are now fourth in the league table with 13 points from six matches.

Former Leeds and City right-back Mills does not believe that Liverpool will win the title.

The former England international has suggested that defensively Jurgen Klopp’s side are vulnerable and might be found out against the bigger teams.

“Liverpool are entertaining going forward but defensively are a bit suspect,” Mills told BBC Sport (16:13).

“Against the bigger teams they might be found out, which is for me why they won’t win the title this season.”

Liverpool have been superb going forward so far this season, but defensively the signs have not been great.

However, the Reds have looked quite good against the bigger teams in the Premier League so far this season.

The Merseyside outfit have defeated Arsenal and Chelsea, and have drawn with Tottenham Hotspur.

Liverpool will face Swansea City away from home at the Liberty Stadium in the Premier League next weekend.
