Manchester United now find themselves eight points outside the top four after another draw in the Premier League.
Speaking on BBC’s Match of the Day 2 programme at 23:05 on November 27th, former Arsenal stalwart Martin Keown drew comparisons between Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Chelsea legend Didier Drogba.
United drew their fourth consecutive Premier League game at Old Trafford, with Ibrahimovic scoring his side’s equaliser against West Ham United yesterday during their 1-1 stalemate.
And Keown explained how Jose Mourinho seems to be using the Swedish star in the same mould in which he utilised Drogba during his time at Chelsea, when speaking on BBC’s Match of the Day 2:

“Dare I say it, if you look at Ibrahimovic, is he being used like Drogba was at Chelsea? With balls into the box he’s very good. Getting bodies around him. He is a really powerful, big man.”
The former Paris Saint-Germain man has impressed in spells since his arrival at Old Trafford in the summer, but has failed to reach the levels he has become renowned for.

The 35-year-old hitman has scored nine goals in 19 outings for the Red Devils, and while that seems fairly admirable on the surface, he will most certainly have to improve upon that ratio if he is to help fire United into the Champions League spots.
Next up for Mourinho’s men is another game against the Hammers in the quarter-final of the EFL Cup on Wednesday night, before they head to Goodison Park to take on Everton in the Premier League on Sunday.
