Chris Sutton has claimed that Tanguy Ndombele is ‘such a talented’ player after he was booed by Tottenham supporters, as he told BBC Radio 5 Live Sport.
It was a game to forget for Tottenham’s club-record signing on Sunday after his side had to come from behind to beat Morecambe in the FA Cup.
Antonio Conte’s men were 1-0 down to the League One side and they needed the likes of Harry Kane and Lucas Moura to come off the bench to change things around.
Ndombele was subbed off before Tottenham’s comeback and the manner in which he went off the pitch resulted in the home fans turning against their own player.
Sutton thinks that, since Ndombele has been in north London, fans have seen ‘glimpses’ of his talent, but it seems as though his ‘attitude’ has let him down.
“I think we have seen glimpses of Ndombele,” said Sutton. “He is such a talented player.
“You (Sutton speaking to a Tottenham fan) are saying he is basically not committed with an attitude like that.”

To the surprise of nobody, it seems as though Ndombele is going to be heading for the Spurs exit door.
The Athletic report that Ndombele wants to actually leave himself and he is hopeful of an exit during the January transfer window.
There were even suggestions that Tottenham figures were ‘disappointed’ with Ndombele’s actions during the FA Cup game.
Either way, all of this isn’t great viewing for the player because that’s yet another manager where things have gone wrong for the ball-carrying midfielder.
