Chris Sutton told BBC Radio 5 Live Sport that Harry Kane doesn’t want to ‘hang around’ at a ‘mediocre’ club like Tottenham.
The former Premier League winner also stated that the Tottenham managerial job is ‘too big’ for Ryan Mason.
Towards the back end of the campaign, Daniel Levy handed the reigns to 29-year-old Mason, who was unable to guide them to a League Cup win and a top-six finish.
And with doubts over Kane’s future, as reported by Sky Sports, Sutton is seemingly certain that he’s heading for the exit door.
“Harry Kane if off, he has made it clear,” said Sutton. “He doesn’t want to stay and hang around at a mediocre club, does he?
“Harry Kane wants out. Ryan Mason, come on?! The job is too big for Ryan Mason next season. You need a new manager.”

When there are doubts over your star player, such as Kane, the last thing you need is to head into a summer where you have qualified for the European Conference league and you have no manager in charge.
Luckily for Spurs, Kane isn’t the type of character to make a fuss or cause a scene in order to leave the club.
But Daniel Levy needs to show the ambition this summer to try and showcase to one of Tottenham’s greatest players that they can seriously move forward.
And given that he failed to do that when Mauricio Pochettino was in charge then there is only one man to blame for their current mess.
