Martin Keown told BBC Sport that Stuart Dallas is ‘really underrated’ following Leeds United’s 2-1 win at Manchester City on Saturday.
A brace from Leeds’ versatile machine, including a late winner, helped secure a deserved three points for his side against the champions-elect.
Whether Dallas is playing left-back, in the middle of the park or operating as a winger, his performances rarely drop.
And Highbury legend, Keown, is a big fan of Dallas following his ‘two lovely finishes’ from the weekend.
“Stuart Dallas is a player who I feel is really underrated,” said Keown. “He can play in multiple positions. He was playing in midfield today and they were two lovely finishes.
“Bielsa has the Midas touch, really. There were a lot of changes to the Man City team today, but in the end, Leeds deserved to win. City will be hurting from this.”

Dallas is one of the players who epitomises the job Marcelo Bielsa has done at Leeds and how he has transformed a club that was sitting mid-table in England’s second-tier a few years ago.
The £2 million Northern Irishman (Sky Sports) was perhaps one of the players deemed not good enough for Leeds, but Bielsa transformed his career.
Just like a number of Leeds players, from Kalvin Phillips to Luke Ayling and previously Ben White, these players have the capability of playing various positions without their performances dropping.
And Bielsa plays a huge part in that.
