Garth Crooks has raved about Arsenal central defender William Saliba after watching the Gunners defender in action against Everton at Goodison Park.
Arsenal got the better of Everton 1-0 away from home at Goodison Park in the Premier League on Sunday.
Leandro Trossard scored the only goal of the match in the second half.
Everton were largely defensive, but they did get a few chances.

Former Tottenham Hotspur forward Garth Crooks has noted how good Arsenal defender William Saliba was when he had to rise to the occasion.
The BBC Sport pundit has included the France international central defender in his Premier League Team of the Week and has noted that the £190,000-a-week (Spotrac) defender is “so comfortable under pressure”.
Praise for Arsenal defender William Saliba vs Everton
Crooks wrote on BBC Sport: “There was a moment during the first half at Goodison Park on Sunday when Beto tried to run William Saliba down his left-hand side in order to get a strike in on goal. Well, the Everton striker should never have bothered.
“Saliba ran Beto and the ball out of play with such ease that it was like taking candy from a baby.
“It’s been a long time since I’ve seen an Arsenal centre-back look so comfortable under pressure. Saliba is also clever enough to know when to pull out of tackles he can’t possibly win cleanly in the penalty area.”
Arsenal star William Saliba one of the best defenders in Premier League
In our view, Arsenal central defender William Saliba is one of the best defenders in the Premier League.
Saliba was superb for Arsenal last season, and he has simply been brilliant so far this campaign.
The Frenchman is only 22 now.
He is bound to improve and get better in the coming years.
Arsenal are a better, more solid and stronger team at the back with Saliba in it.
Mikel Arteta’s side are aiming to win the Premier League title this season and will also look to make an impact in the UEFA Champions League.
