Matthew Upson has raved about Arsenal playmaker Martin Odegaard for his goal in the first half of the Premier League match against Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium in North London on Sunday afternoon.
Martin Odegaard is one of the best players at Arsenal, and the former Real Madrid playmaker started against Manchester United.
The Norway international attacking midfielder started on the right of a midfield-three against United.
And he scored in the 28th minute.

Arsenal marched forward in style and made a very good attacking move.
Brazil international winger Gabriel Martinelli pulled the ball inside the penalty area, and Odegaard found the back of the net with a first-time effort.
It was a wonderful goal, and former Arsenal player Upson was impressed.
Upson said on BBC Sport: “When I see Martin Odegaard line up with his left foot and he’s stepping onto that, you know the ball is hitting the target. It is lovely play.
“It is perfection.
“He is on the edge of the box and strokes it into the bottom corner.

Martin Odegaard is one of the best players in the Premier League and has developed a lot under Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta.
The Norwegian is a very silky player who is class on the ball and works hard off it.
Odegaard played well against Manchester United and tried to make things happen for the home team on Sunday.
The 24-year-old is also developing into a key source of goals for Arsenal.
The former Madrid player scored 15 goals and gave seven assists in the Premier League last season.
For Arsenal to be successful in the Premier League and in the UEFA Champions League, Odegaard will have to be on top of his game throughout the campaign.
