Leeds United won against Aston Villa in the Championship on Saturday evening.
Leeds United head coach Garry Monk has praised Kemar Roofe on the club’s official Twitter page.
Monk has stated that Roofe deserved to score for Leeds against Aston Villa at Elland Road on Saturday evening.
The 23-year-old, who can operate as a winger or as a striker, broke the deadlock midway through the second half.

Chris Wood added a second in the fourth minute of injury time to wrap up a 2-0 victory for the West Yorkshire outfit.
Leeds head coach Monk has praised Roofe, and so has BBC pundit Whelan.
Former Leeds striker Whelan has explained why the former West Bromwich Albion prospect is playing well at the moment.
“Roofe has gone back to simple things,” Whelan told BBC Sport (19:46). “He was getting frustrated with his game because he was finding it difficult, but now he’s teamed aggression with control and he’s enjoying his football again. He deserved that goal.
“Roofe came up against a tough cookie with Jedinak today and good players problem solve – they work how to get the best out of yourself. And he did that today. It took him over 45 minutes, but that was probably because of the hard work Villa put in today.”

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Elland Road on Saturday evening, hosts Leeds had 55% of the possession, took 10 shots of which four were on target, and earned four corners, according to BBC Sport.
Visitors Villa had 45% of the possession, took 10 shots of which three were on target, and earned five corners, according to BBC Sport.
Leeds are fourth in the Championship table at the moment with 32 points from 19 matches.
