Interestingly, the BBC claim that the Leeds No.18 stayed behind at Thorp Arch with Patrick Bamford for an hour to do one thing.
A goalkeeper was required for the £7 million striker to shoot at, as part of a video for Yorkshire Cancer Research.
He may not be a glovesman by trade, but Raphinha stepped up and put himself in between the sticks, spending 60 minutes saving shots from Bamford.
He didn’t have to do that, even more so seeing as he isn’t actually a goalkeeper, but the fact he did just goes to show the character Leeds have signed.
There seems to be absolutely no flashiness or arrogance about the former Sporting Lisbon attacker – the supporters have taken to him with open arms as a result.
With five goals and five assists in the Premier League this season, his application is just as good on the pitch as it is away from it.
