Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are now reportedly facing competition from Bayern Munich for Dusan Vlahovic because of the high price-tag of Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.

CMW have reported that Bayern want to sign Kane from Tottenham in the summer transfer window.

However, the defending Bundesliga champions do not want to pay the €115 million (£102 million) transfer fee that Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy wants for Kane.

So, Bayern are looking at a potential deal for Juventus striker Vlahovic, who has been linked with a move to Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.

Italian news outlet CMW have claimed that Bayern plan to offer Marcel Sabitzer to Juventus in a deal to bring Vlahovic to the Allianz Arena.

Midfielder Sabitzer joined Manchester United on loan from Bayern in the January transfer window.

Sabitzer is scheduled to return to the Bavarian giants at the end of the season.

Now, Bayern’s reported plan regarding Vlahovic will come as a blow for Arsenal.

The Gunners have been linked with a move for the Serbia international striker.

The Times reported on December 31, 2022 that Arsenal were interested in signing Vlahovic in the January transfer window or in the summer of 2023.

CalcioMercato reported last month that Arsenal are seriously thinking about the 23-year-old Serbia international striker.
