The Bayern Munich man would be an excellent acquisition for Everton this summer.
Ronald Koeman’s revolution is well underway at Goodison Park, as he continues to splash the cash in an effort to assemble a squad capable of making a genuine push for the Champions League spots this season.
His business is by no means finished yet though, as he looks to build on what has already been a successful summer.
The Dutchman will only want to bring in the absolute best quality from here on out, and with this in mind, Everton should consider making an approach for Bayern Munich’s Renato Sanches, who has been made available for just £23 million, according to the Sun.

The 19-year-old made the move to Bavaria from Benfica last summer, for a fee that could rise to an extortionate £70 million, but failed to settle at the Allianz Arena, with so many world-class established names ahead of him in the midfield pecking order.
The Portuguese international is a powerfully built player, and possesses a wonderful repertoire of passing. He can play in the deep-lying play-maker role, or further up the pitch in the more orthodox central midfield position.
The Toffees already have strong options in the middle of the park, including the likes of Idrissa Gueye and Morgan Schneiderlin, but for a team hoping to finish inside the top-four, it could be argued they lack the so-called ‘X-factor’, and Sanches could provide them with exactly that.
Whilst Everton are in a healthy position financially, they cannot be spending the kind of money being thrown about by the likes of Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United, so the opportunity to sign someone of the Bayern star’s quality, for just £23 million, should be one that they seize without hesitation.
And if Koeman is successful in bringing Sanches to Goodison Park this summer, it could prove to be a signing that helps transcend Everton as a football club.
