Sadio Mane officially completed his move from Bayern Munich to Al-Nassr yesterday and the Senegalese international’s announcement was a very catchy one.
The announcement, which came Yesterday evening, attracted a large amount of social media engagement with the Tweet, from the English Al-Nassr account, garnering 62,000 likes.
On Mane’s Instagram, the former Liverpool winger posted an Instagram photo with him holding up the yellow shirt of the Saudi side with the caption: “Alhamdulillah, happy to be part of the Al-Nassr club.”
The winger completed the move to the Saudi side with his former club’s blessing, with the winger struggling for consistency at the German giants with just seven goals and five assists in the Bundesliga.
It’s been a forgettable year for Mane in Bavaria, but one former Bayern great is seemingly sad that the winger is leaving Munich.

Bayern Munich icon wishes him well
Franck Ribery, a former Bayern Munich legend, commented on Mane’s post about completing the move to the Saudi side. He simply posted a high-five emoji and a heart emoji directed toward the Senegalese forward.
Mane was involved in a spat with former Manchester City winger Leroy Sane, with rumours of a punchup between the pair dominating the news cycle following Bayern’s elimination at the hands of, ironically, Pep Guardiola’s City.
Mane will line up alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and the pair could well be the difference between Al-Nassr finishing second or winning the Saudi Pro League.
It has been reported by Sky Sports that Bayern have recouped some of the £35 million they paid Liverpool for Mane last summer, with £24 million received for the winger.
Meanwhile, Mane becomes the latest talent from Europe’s top five leagues to make the switch to Saudi Arabia, where he is allegedly set to pocket a staggering £34million-a-year (£650,000-a-week) according to the same report from Sky Sports.
