Bayern Munich will reportedly scout Galatasaray forward Henry Onyekuru, on loan from Premier League side Everton.

It’s reported in Turkey by Fotospor that Bayern Munich will be sending scouts to watch Galatasaray forward Henry Onyekuru in midweek.
While that doesn’t affect the Turkish side very much, it will be of interest to his parent club, Everton.
The Toffees signed the Nigerian in 2017 but were forced to immediately loan him to Anderlecht for last season, where he went on to score nine goals in 19 games.
The reason for that was the difficulty in getting Onyekuru a work permit – the 21-year-old only had two caps for his country, making a work permit virtually impossible to acquire.
Onyekuru’s situation is similar this season, too, with his move to Galatasaray said to be out of hope that he’ll soon qualify for one and be able to play for Everton, as reported by the Liverpool Echo last summer.
Work permit regulations are less difficult in Germany, leaving Bayern able to use the player if they like what they see and complete a deal with Everton.
So the Toffees could be left with a very difficult decision come the summer – with Onyekuru getting more caps for Nigeria, another year on loan after this one could see him finally qualify for a work permit.

The talented forward would still only be 23 by then and would surely warrant an opportunity at Goodison Park, given their need for a striker and his very impressive goal record that inspired them to pay £7m in the first place.
But if Bayern, or another club, come calling at the end of this season and offer Everton a way to settle the situation once and for all, it may be difficult to pass up.
Do Everton take the risk and see if he can finally qualify, or do they simply take the money and try to make a decent profit?
That’s the difficult decision they may well face in the summer of 2019 – and they’ve got the rest of this season to figure it out.
