Aston Villa fans have reacted on Twitter to Jack Grealish’s Instagram story where he is doing fitness work ahead of the Liverpool game on Saturday.
The 25-year-old has missed Villa’s last seven matches and those in the West Midlands will be hoping that comes to an end at the weekend.
Grealish was supposed to be back for Fulham’s visit last Sunday, but a setback in training meant that the Villa faithful have to wait that little longer to see their expert ball-carrier glide around the pitch.
Of course, the Villa fans will love it if he’s available for the trip to Liverpool, who were in Champions League action on Tuesday.
That famous, or from Liverpool’s perspective, infamous, game from earlier on in the season will be brought up again.
Grealish scored two goals and provided three assists during that 7-2 thumping and having him back will no doubt elevate their chances of causing havoc once more.
Liverpool have lost a remarkable six home games on the bounce and now they face off against a Villa side who recently picked up their first win since February.
