West Ham United fans did not have too much to shout about last season despite their big move to the Olympic Stadium.
West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic
The Hammers took a big step back last season after their record-breaking farewell campaign at the Boleyn Ground where they finished just four points off the Champions League spots.
Slaven Bilic is actually regarded to have done a decent job in tough conditions with injuries, poor recruitment, the Dimitri Payet saga, constant speculation over his future and the fallout from the move to their new 60,000 seater home having a impact.
Many supporters have bemoaned a lack of atmosphere at the London Stadium citing the bowl shape of the arena and large distance from the stands to the pitch as annoyances.

The club have always proudly trumpeted the fact they have the biggest digital TV screen in Europe, though, something which has become a running joke amongst fans.
Well soon West Ham will not even be able to lay claim to that after German giants Bayern Munich announced they are set to install an even bigger one at the Allianz Arena.

And Jack Sullivan, son of Hammers co-owner David, isn’t happy if his Twitter feed is anything to go by while West Ham fans have (mostly) seen the funny side, one even suggesting the news will scupper their bid for number one summer strike target Michy Batshuayi.
