Barry Robson has recalled the furious rift between Artur Boruc and Aiden McGeady at Celtic when they were all teammates.

The trio were all teammates together at Celtic Park, where Robson plied his trade for two seasons between 2008 and 2010, and it was a pretty successful time for the club on the pitch.
The Hoops won one league title and one League Cup in that period, but the 39-year-old has revealed things were far from harmonious behind the scenes, with Boruc and McGeady actually hating each other.
Speaking on Simon Ferry’s Open Goal show, Robson admitted: “Aiden and Artur didn’t like each other – they hated each other.
“One day, we were out in the training pitch doing shooting. Artur wouldn’t dive for Aiden’s shots… he wouldn’t dive! I was standing in training one day and I see big Artur running right by me and I’m thinking, ‘Where is he going?’
“He came running by me and tried to lamp Aiden! But he’s missed him and he’s rolled on the floor and jumped up.”

Robson continued by remarkably claiming that Boruc once walked past McGeady in the dressing room and punched him for no apparent reason, and the riled Republic of Ireland international tried to take revenge by kicking the goal-keeper in the showers, only to slip over.
The Polish stopper left the Scottish giants at the same time as Robson to embark on an adventure on Italy with Fiorentina, before coming to England in 2012 where he has remained since, having played for Southampton and now Bournemouth.
McGeady, now of Sunderland, also left Celtic in 2010, and crossed paths with Boruc once more after transferring to Everton in 2014 where he played for a few seasons in the Premier League.
