Steven Gerrard has guided Rangers to six wins on the bounce in the Scottish Premiership.

Barry Ferguson has expressed his concern that people think Rangers are ‘okay for next year’ in regards to pushing for the Scottish Premiership title.
Steven Gerrard’s side have won six games on the bounce in recent weeks including beating their Old Firm rivals over the weekend in emphatic fashion.
Aside from ill-discipline and inconsistencies here and there, Gerrard has vastly improved the Light Blues and pushed them closer to their neighbours.
But speaking to PLZ Soccer’s official YouTube account (13/05/2019), Ferguson claimed that Gerrard knows the improvements he needs to make in the team as he warned them about being over-confident.
“They can take confidence that those set of players can perform at the highest level in Scottish football,” Ferguson told PLZ Soccer.
“My only concern to that is I hope people don’t go away thinking, ‘we are okay for next year’. I think the manager knows that as well, he needs three or four players to come into that starting XI.”

Gerrard’s first season as a manager and first season at Ibrox has been rather successful, but there will be disappointments in not lifting any silverware.
They failed to reach the semi-finals of any domestic competition and at one stage they were level on points with Celtic before poor results and performances saw them fall away.
If Gerrard can address those consistency issues then his team will be a real force next term as they aim to stop their bitter rivals from winning nine-in-a-row.
