Ryan Kent was on loan at Rangers from Liverpool last season.
Ryan Kent of Rangers
Kent spent the 2018-19 campaign on loan at Rangers from Premier League outfit Liverpool.
The winger did well during his loan spell at Ibrox last season, as he made 25 starts and two substitute appearances in the Scottish Premiership, scoring six goals in the process, according to WhoScored.
The 22-year-old also made four appearances in the Scottish Cup and three in the Scottish League Cup for Rangers last season, according to WhoScored.
Former Rangers midfielder Ferguson has praised Kent, and he hopes that Liverpool send the former England Under-20 international back on loan to the Gers.
Ferguson wrote about Kent in The Daily Record: “Klopp will be comparing him to the likes of Xherdan Shaqiri over the next couple of weeks and weighing up if the time is right to give him a chance.
“I hope he reaches the conclusion the boy needs one more year of first team football at Ibrox because he’s a special talent who could make a real difference to Gerrard’s hopes of winning silverware.”

Rangers return
Kent is hugely talented, but given the competition for places in the Liverpool team, the winger is unlikely to get much playing time at Anfield next season.
Given his progress at Rangers last season, it would make sense for Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp to send the 22-year-old back to Ibrox on loan for the 2019-20 campaign.
Rangers manager Steven Gerrard himself told The Scottish Sun that he wants to bring Kent back to Ibrox for the 2019-20 campaign.
