Rangers are on the hunt for a new manager after axing Pedro Caixinha on Thursday.

Barry Ferguson has pleaded with Rangers to lure Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes to Ibrox after the Scottish giants axed Pedro Caixinha on Thursday.
Caixinha was given the boot by the Rangers board after failing to hold on to three points against Kilmarnock on Wednesday night, as Chris Burke’s late goal ensured a share of the spoils at 1-1.
The former Santos Laguna manager has failed to keep level pace with Old Firm rivals Celtic throughout his tenure and has now been relieved of his duties, with 46-year-old McInnes installed as one of the front runners to replace him.

The Scottish Sun claim McInnes heads a list of candidates drawn up by the Rangers board, with a compensation package of £1.5million said to be enough to get their man.
Former Bristol City manager McInnes even turned out for Rangers during his playing career, pulling on the royal blue of Rangers for five years between 1995 and 2000.
Speaking to BBC Sport’s live coverage of Caixinha’s sacking (19:12pm, Thursday), former Rangers skipper Ferguson urged his old side to bring McInnes to Ibrox but revealed he was a fan of both Alex McLeish and Billy Davies.
“You’ve got a guy three hours up the road who has done a fantastic job at Aberdeen: Derek McInnes,” Ferguson said.
“He knows the club, played for the club and won trophies. He knows the expectations of the club. I think he deserves a crack at a big job, what better job for him than the Rangers job?

“Or you could go down the route of bringing Alex McLeish back in, who has been here before. I also quite like Billy Davies. But, who knows?”
McInnes has enjoyed huge success with Aberdeen, as the Dons finished second behind Celtic last season above the Hoops Old Firm rivals Rangers.
