Celtic will take on Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday afternoon.
Barry Ferguson has suggested that Celtic manager Neil Lennon has now become a lot ‘more calmer’ on the touchline.
Both as a player and during his time as a manager, Lennon has been known to have an aggressive streak to him and he has been involved in a number of heated exchanges on the touchline.
But since his return to Parkhead, Lennon has hardly been involved in any touchline action as he has maintained the club’s status at the top of the Scottish Premiership as well as guiding them to the Scottish Cup final.
Speaking to PLZ Soccer’s official YouTube channel, Ferguson joked that Lennon has become more calmer and mature ‘a bit like’ himself.
“Yes, he looks a lot more calmer with what we seen in his first spell at Celtic and what we saw with Hibs,” Ferguson told PLZ Soccer. “Maybe he’s just getting more mature as he’s getting older. A bit like myself.”
On Sunday, Lennon will take on his former club Hibernian as he will be looking to guide his team closer to the Scottish Premiership title.
It is a matter of time before the Bhoys win eight Premiership titles in a row, but it is their Scottish Cup final clash against Hearts that will be on everyone’s mind.
If Lennon can guide his team to victory then they will create history and win the treble-treble and further showcase their dominance in Scotland’s top-flight.
