Glasgow Rangers duo David Bates and Myles Beerman have impressed former Ibrox star Barry Ferguson.

Barry Ferguson has revealed in The Daily Record that he has been impressed with the performances of Rangers duo David Bates and Myles Beerman.
Bates is 20 years of age and operates as a defender, while Beerman is 18 years old and plays as a defender as well.
The two Rangers youngsters featured in the Scottish Premiership game against Kilmarnock away from home at Rugby Park on Wednesday evening.
Former Rangers midfielder Ferguson was impressed with the performances of the two youngsters in the goalless draw.
“The two young boys did fine,” Ferguson wrote in The Daily Record. “The big centre half David Bates looked a bit nervous at the start of the match which was understandable. But he calmed down as the game went on and stuck to his job.
“The left back Myles Beerman impressed me and looked comfortable on the ball. He looks as if he has a good future ahead of him.”
Rangers are third in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 52 points from 31 matches.
Pedro Caixinha’s side are 12 points behind second-placed Aberdeen and could end up third in the table this season.
The Gers will return to action on Sunday afternoon when they take on Aberdeen away from home at the Pittodrie Stadium in the Scottish Premiership.
Rangers’ Old Firm rivals, Celtic, have already won the Scottish Premiership title this season.
