The Rangers striker has been in excellent form this season.

Rangers legend Barry Ferguson highlighted how their is too much pressure on Alfredo Morelos to score goals, when speaking exclusively to the Daily Record, suggesting that other players need to step up and chip in with more goals.
Morelos, 22, has been in fine form for the Gers this season, chipping in with 17 goals and 10 assists in 30 appearances in all competitions, and he has proven himself to be vital to the way in which Gerrard’s team plays.
Rangers currently sit in second spot in the Scottish Premiership table, one point adrift of league leaders Celtic, although they have played a game more than their bitter rivals.
And if they are to have any chance of winning the league, Morelos will have to be on his best form between now and the end of the season.
Ferguson, however, highlighted how the Colombian needs more help from his teammates in the goalscoring department, when speaking exclusively to the Daily Record:

“If it wasn’t for Hibs goalkeeper Adam Bogdan then Alfredo Morelos would have added to his impressive return of 17 goals for Rangers this season. And when nobody else was able to step up and find the net it meant two dropped points despite an excellent performance from Steven Gerrard’s men. It underlined the fact there is too much onus on Morelos and goals need to come from others in the team with reinforcements hopefully arriving when the transfer window opens next month.”
Next up for Rangers is a trip to St Johnstone on Sunday, before they face two crucial home games against Hibernian and Celtic respectively.
They then break for around three weeks, and Gerrard will be desperate for his team to head into the winter break having take maximum points from their three games.
If they are to do just that, Morelos will have to be at his very best, but his teammates will have to chip in too.
