Barry Ferguson has claimed in The Daily Record that Rangers have only one leader in the current squad.

The former Rangers midfielder has named Kenny Miller as the sole leader at Ibrox at the moment.

“I look at the team and I only see one leader,” Ferguson wrote in The Daily Record. “If Kenny Miller was not there this season then I can’t begin to imagine where that team would be right now.

“Yes, as captain, Lee Wallace also knows what it’s all about but, for me, Kenny is the guy who drives that dressing room. He’s the inspiration.”

Miller may be 37 years of age, but the former Celtic striker is going strong as ever.

The Scottish striker is currently in his third spell at Rangers and has been one of the best players for the Gers so far this season.

The former Hibernian man will be a key figure during the Old Firm derby at Celtic Park this afternoon.

Rangers will take on Celtic away from home in the Scottish Premiership in a few hours’ time.

The Bhoys will head into the match as favourites, but the Ibrox outfit do have the quality to pick up a point.

For Rangers to get something from the counter at Celtic Park, Miller has to be at his very best.

The 37-year-old striker will have to inspire his teammates against bitter rivals Celtic.
