Graeme Murty’s Glasgow Rangers will face Ross County away from Ibrox, and Simon Donnelly backs the Gers to win.

The former Rangers midfielder, who had two separate spells at Ibrox and is a club legend, has also claimed that such competition for places in the Gers’ team has been lacking for a number of years.
Ferguson told Betsafe: “I think he (manager Graeme Murty) has got a decent squad, and there is a lot of competition for places, which hasn’t been the case at Rangers for a number of years. So things are looking good.”

Rangers have made some wonderful signings in the January transfer window so far, such as Jason Cummings and Jamie Murphy.
As Ferguson points out, there is a lot of competition for places in the Gers’ team, including in defence, where even star centre-back Bruno Alves is not guaranteed a place when he is fully fit.
Such competition can only be good for Rangers, and manager Graeme Murty should be praised for the way he is handling the situation at Ibrox at the moment.

Meanwhile, former Celtic midfielder Simon Donnelly has predicted Rangers to win against Ross County this weekend.
The Gers will take on Owen Coyle’s side away from home at the Global Energy Stadium in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday afternoon.
When asked about three results for accumulator this weekend, Donnelly told Betsafe: “Celtic, Rangers and Aberdeen.”
