Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic have been linked with John McGinn of Hibernian in the summer transfer window.

Celtic have been linked with Hibernian star John McGinn for a while, and it seems that speculation will simply not go away.
Back in June 2017, The Express reported that Celtic were planning to sign McGinn from Hibernian in the summer of 2017.
According to a report in ChronicleLive in February 2018, the performances of the Scotland international midfielder this season have caught the eye of the Hoops.
Former Celtic striker Chris Sutton recently stated in The Daily Record that the Glasgow giants should sign the 23-year-old from Scottish Premiership rivals Hibernian in the summer transfer window.
Rangers legend Barry Ferguson has given his take on the displays produced by McGinn and has included him in the seven best Scottish Premiership players of the season.
The former Rangers midfielder, though, does not think that the former St Mirren star is not worth £5 million.
Hibs manager Neil Lennon was recently quoted as saying by The Daily Mail that the club would look for £5m for McGinn.

Ferguson wrote about McGinn in The Daily Record: “His passing is crisper, sharper and more accurate.
“He can tackle and get about the pitch. He has bundles of energy and his range of distribution has improved.
“I’m not sure he’s worth the £5million being quoted – yet. But he has shown he can handle the big stage for Scotland and against Celtic and Rangers.”

Quality footballer
McGinn is playing well for Hibernian at the moment and is one of the best midfielders in the Scottish Premiership.
The 23-year-old Scotland international has scored five goals and provided four assists in 30 Scottish Premiership appearances for Hibernian so far this season, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
